素直に建てる

私は、それを
「素直なデザイン」と解釈した。
何に素直なのか？
街並みに対して、
家族の願いに対して、
自分の暮らし方に対して、
設計者の考えに対して、
これは、人それぞれだろう。
それが明確に読み取れるとき、
違和感なくそこに入り込める気がする。
逆に、
何故、ココに？ この家族のために？ この人のために？
が不明確なとき、なんとなく居心地の悪さを感じる。
どうせ、そこで酔っ払うことが分かりきっているならば、
「酔っ払い易い家」なんてのも
面白いかもしれない。
あるいは、全てに対して
「素直じゃなく建てる」＝「不誠実に建てる」
というのも、意図的にやるならば楽しいかも知れない。
「イヤー、この家住みにくくて」
と、大笑いしながら人に話せる。
そこまでやったら、ある意味すごい。
さー、どっちに行くか？
