「忘れられない」 でちょっと思った
昨日、テレビを見た。
プレミアム１０
「ユーミンと歌いたい～寺岡呼人 ゆず 桜井和寿～」
その中で、今回のライブのためにメンバーみんなで
新曲を作っていた。
なんかすごいな～
と思った。
いいな～
と思った。
自分の仕事とも少し似てるのかな～？
とちょっとだけ思った。
その新曲のなかに
「♪忘れられぬ ミュージック～♪・・・」
「♪口ずさめる ミュージック♪」
って感じの歌詞があった。
そこでちょっと思った。
「忘れられない “建築” 」
ってあるのだろうか？
幼稚園、学校・・・、田舎のばあちゃんち・・・
いつか行った、リゾートのコテージ・・・
いつか行った、温泉の旅館・・・、
父が逝った病院・・・
そして、これまでに暮らしたいくつかの家・・・
これって、すべてとてもプライベートな感覚。
いつも通る道で、解体工事が始まる。
「あれ、ここって何があったっけ？？」
これは、つくり手としては悲しいこと。
人の記憶に残るような建築をつくる
それは万人の記憶でなくてもいい。
ほんの限られた人でも構わない。
その建築に触れた人の人生の一部になる。
そんな建築のお手伝いをしていきたいなあ～
と改めて思った。

でも、どうも最近、
「これって、何の意味があるんだろう？」
という建物が増えたように感じます。
なんとなく無理があるような建物が・・・
設計者のエゴ？押し付け？メディア向け？
建築設計と商業デザインの境界線が・・・
と、これはまた別のエントリーで。
